1. Agreement and eligibility
DentComp is operated by Dule Labs LLC. By using the service or submitting information, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract.
2. Purpose of the service
DentComp provides general, self-reported compensation information. It does not provide legal, tax, financial, employment, or career advice and does not guarantee any negotiation or employment outcome.
3. Contribution rules
You may submit only your own compensation information, accurately and in good faith. Do not submit patient or third-party information, an employer or practice name, an exact address, a government identifier, financial-account data, trade secrets, confidential documents, or unlawful material.
We may validate, generalize, correct formatting errors, reject, remove, or delay any submission. Publication is not guaranteed.
4. Authorizations you grant
You retain any rights you hold in your submission. By submitting, you authorize Dule Labs LLC to store, review, generalize, aggregate, and, if approved, publish the submission to operate DentComp as described in the Privacy Policy. Contracted service providers may carry out this work, and for personal information the authorization lasts only as long as needed for the stated purposes.
By submitting, you also authorize Dule Labs LLC to combine any approved submission with other contributions to create, own, use, modify, license, sell, and otherwise commercialize aggregated or deidentified compensation statistics, analyses, and datasets to employers, researchers, consultants, and other business customers for benchmarking, labor-market research, recruiting, workforce planning, analytics, and service development. Raw submissions, contact information, and direct identifiers will not be sold. No compensation is due to you for this use to the extent permitted by law.
5. Acceptable use
You may not bypass security, automate submissions, scrape data at scale, attempt to identify a contributor, combine data to reconstruct an individual record, resell data, disrupt the service, or use DentComp to coordinate, fix, or suppress compensation.
6. Intellectual property
Dule Labs owns DentComp, its software, presentation, branding, and the aggregated or deidentified statistics, analyses, and datasets it creates under these Terms. We grant you a limited, revocable, nontransferable permission to use the site for legitimate personal or internal professional purposes.
7. Accuracy and disclaimers
Data is self-reported, incomplete, and may be inaccurate, outdated, or unrepresentative. The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent law permits, Dule Labs disclaims implied warranties and is not responsible for decisions made in reliance on the data.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Dule Labs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages, or lost data, revenue, profits, or opportunities. Its total liability arising from the service will not exceed US$100. These limits do not reduce mandatory consumer rights.
9. Advertising, suspension, changes, and governing law
DentComp may display advertising, sponsorships, or promotional content. Their appearance is not an endorsement, and advertisers remain responsible for their offers. We may suspend abusive access, change the service, or update these Terms. Material changes apply prospectively after appropriate notice. Illinois law governs these Terms and disputes will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Cook County, except where mandatory law in your province or territory provides otherwise.
